For budget accommodation, hostels are an ideal option. Recommneded hostels include Miami Beach International Travellers Hostel,
The Tropics Hotel and Hostel and The South Beach Hostel, with beds from as little as £7.
Things to do and places to visit in Miami
There's plenty to see and do in Miami, especially around Miami beach area. Haulover Beach Park,
located between the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, is popular for its surf and white sandy beaches.
Also of interest is Espnola Way, an architectural wonder, always popular with famous names like
Al Capone and Don Johnson. Or visit the Art Deco historic district and join one of the Saturday morning
Art deco tours organised by the Miami Design Preservation League.
There are some great bars and clubs in Miami. Mac's Club Deuce, located next to South Beach and described as
'both sleazy and engaging', is a big favaourite with the locals as well as being popular with visitors. For
Jazz, Jazid is a cool, hip, and unpretentious venue with excellent Jazz and a friendly atmosphere.
Another superb bar is the south beach icon Clevelander. With an awsome atmosphere, friendly waitresses , hot dancers
and absolutely no attitude this provides a fantistic Miami night out.
