Where to stay in Kuwait
Being an oil-rich kingdom, Kuwait tends to have quite a high proportion of 4-star and 5-star hotels that are
obviously somewhat expensive. Examples are the
Moevenpick Hotel Kuwait,
with 5-star luxury rooms at £164 and the
Sheraton Kuwait Hotel and Towers,
with rooms from £269. However, more reasonable options exist, at 3-star hotels such as the
Ibis Salmiya
which has rooms from £57.
There is very little on offer as far as hostel accommodation and budget hotels are concerned. There are no hostels in Kuwait, and the only 3 listed for the
whole country are Hawali Youth Hostel, Khaldiya Youth Hostel and Salmiya Youth Hostel.
