Flights to Ljubljana
It is possible to fly direct to Ljubljana. These flights, operated from Gatwick by Adria Airways, are however quite infrequent - flying to Slovenia once each day. A better option for some may be to fly, using Opodo, to Italy, Germany or Switzerland, change airlines and fly on to Ljubljana. Similarly, others may decide to fly to Italy, then continue the journey by train. Direct flights to Ljubljana cost from around £71 for a return ticket.

Ljubljana is popular with budget travellers. As a result there are many hostels and cheap hotels available for students and tourists on a budget. Things to do and places to go in Ljubljana
Ljubljana is an up-and-coming European destination. There are many beautiful areas such as the French Revolution Square, Metelkova neighbourhood and Town Square (Mestni trg). Other sites of interest include the Fountain of Three Carniolan Rivers and Dragon Bridge.

Ljubljana nightlife is very good for such a small town. Popular bars include Patrick's Irish Pub, Night lounge bar AS ('dancing bar'), Orto bar Ljubljana (rock bar) and Bar Skeleton. Clubbing venues in Ljubljana are KMS and Metelkova town.
