Where to stay in Malaga
Accomodation in Malaga is of a very good standard. Recommended hotels include the 3-star Flathotel International, located in the Benalmadena area next to the Torrequebrada Golf Course and a 100m walk from the beach, with rooms from £36. Also great value is the 4-star Apartamentos Princesa Playa, facing the beach on Marbella Promenade and close to the Bonsai Museum and go-karting. Rooms are available from an amazing £43. For luxury, the Torrequebrada Hotel located near the resort of Torremolinos is a superb 5-star option, with rooms from only £87.

Cheap budget accomodation is not widespread, but can be found at Hostal el Nogal, next to Pedregalejo beach, and Hostal Pedregalejo, located in the centre of the old town. Roooms start from as little as £20.

Things to do and places to go in Malaga
Malaga is a superb holiday destination, especially in the summer. The beach is, understandably, a favourite destination for many visitors to Malaga. There are also museums for anyone looking to discover Malaga culture and history, including the Picasso Foundation (Fundacion Picasso) with exhibits from the famous artist Pablo Picasso. Other excellent art galleries are Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares and Euroarte.

The nightlife in Malaga is excellent. There are plenty of bars and nightclubs. Also, there are a significant number of Flemenco clubs for people to enjoy. Popular bars and clubs include Abisinia with live music and an excellent atmosphere, Disco Ola a nightclub for those who enjoy dance music and Liceo a bar/disco popular with students and foreigners.
